The TIM G7 has a standard temperature range of 200 to 1500°C with a basic accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%, whichever is greater. The imager is only 46 x 56 x 90mm in size and weighs just 320g, including optics. The TIM G7 is ideal for fixed mount applications in tight spaces.
The Micro-Epsilon TIM G7 thermal imager is powered and operated via a USB 2.0 interface. This plug-and-play unit is supplied with a full software package, TIM Connect, that enables the user to configure all device parameters, as well as enabling the real time capture (with a switchable 80Hz or 27Hz frame rate) and storage of images or video of an event for slow motion play back or snapshots at a later date – an important feature in R&D and failure diagnostics work.
Analog inputs and outputs are provided for the TIM G7, as well as digital communication via RS232 or DLL for software integration. Output of analog temperature or trigger/alert values are via process interfaces provided. The camera also comes with a software developer kit and LabVIEW driver as standard.
