The Dakota CMX series ultrasonic thickness gauge is available in three models.
Dakota CMX Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges
The Dakota CMX ultrasonic thickness gauge includes a Pulse-Echo mode for pit and flaw detection; a Pulse-Echo Coating mode for pit and flaw detection in coated materials; a Pulse-Echo Temperature Compensation mode for pit and flaw detection with automatic temperature compensation; an Echo-Echo mode for thickness measurements through coatings; and a Coating Only mode for measuring only the coating thickness. Up to 64 custom user definable setups can be added and display options include B-Scan which provides a time-based cross sectional view. Navigation between modes is simple and straightforward. The Dakota CMX ultrasonic thickness gauge’s small extruded aluminum body is sealed for protection. DakView Java based PC software is also included, making the kit complete.
Dakota CMX-DL Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges
The Dakota CMX-DL ultrasonic thickness gauge has all the features of the CMX plus a huge storage capacity with multiple file structures. Select between two file formats: sequential, with auto identifiers, or a standard alpha numeric grid format. The storage capacity of the Dakota CMX-DL ultrasonic thickness gauge is impressive. With graphics on up to 16,000 readings (material & Coating) with a B-Scan can be stored with all features and gauges settings per reading. With graphics off up to 210,000 readings, including material, coating, and min & max readings can be stored.
Dakota CMX-DL+ Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges
The Dakota CMX-DL+ ultrasonic thickness gauge has all the features of the CMX-DL plus a full featured A-Scan presentation with RF and rectified viewing options. The Dakota CMX-DL+ ultrasonic thickness gauge is equipped with 3 fully adjustable gates (start, stop, width, & threshold) as well as a 20dB boost/cut attenuator which offers added flexibility for transducer types and applications.
